The
Last Chance Saloon was a shop & gallery in Waterloo London which was
co-owned by Nude-ist Suzy Prince. We put on Vince Ray's first ever solo
exhibition. Then we put on a second exhibition of his and commissioned him
to design this exclusive poster for the event which we then had hand-screenprinted
on thick stock fine art paper. This initial bunch was rejected, purely because
there are a few places on the print where the white paper shows, as you
can see here. It still looks absolutely fantastic, and if you didn't know
that it wasn't initially intended to look like that, you wouldn't have a
clue! The final poster was in an edition of 100 which has long sold out.
These posters are your only chance to get hold of a piece of history and
I've only got 15 of them! The exhibition was called 'the sound effect of
sex and horror' which is also the title of the poster. Then in the corner
it says 'Vince Ray at the last Chance Saloon' and the dates. The posters
